Melt the lard that we put in a tall bowl, break the eggs, add the sugar, orange peel, baking powder and flour as it contains, until it becomes a fairly homogeneous dough, like the one for croissants.

Keep the dough about the size of an apple and set aside. The other part is spread on the baking sheet on which it is placed in a square tray, it is greased with the cherry jam and with the help of a grater we put the dough set aside over the jam.

Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees. Serve with powdered sugar!
